Congratulations to our Intermediate hurlers on their win over Ballybacon Grange in the County Intermediate Hurling Championship in Annacarty on Saturday last. Final score Newport 0-26  Ballybacon-Grange 0-14. Our Junior ‘C’ team had to bow to Ballina’s superior ability and experience on Friday, losing by 3-19 to 1-11
