It was a disappointing weekend for our Junior Hurlers. The ‘B’ team was decisively beaten by Ballina on a 0-25 to 0-14 scoreline, while the ‘C’ side had to give best to Shannon Rovers by 2-15 to 0-9. The ‘B’ team will conclude the group stages when they are away to Lorrha on Saturday 18th.

Our two Under 16 teams were in action at the weekend, The ‘A’ team had to give best to Toomevara on a 3-16 to 1-16 scoreline. The second team lost out to Golden-Kilfeacle in a high-scoring, well-contested game, 4-19 to 4-11.

Hard luck to Colm, Oisín, Ollie and Aaron and the Tipperary minor hurlers following the narrow defeat against Limerick in last weekend’s All Ireland Final.
