Underage Games

This has been a busy and fruitful week for our juvenile hurling teams:
On Monday the Under 16 team hosted Nenagh Éire Óg and after a good contest won on a scoreline of 3-17 to 1-14. Harry Moloney accounted for 2-8 (1-7f);
On Tuesday our 2 Under 12 teams played Kilruane MacDonaghs in Lacken Park. The ‘C’ team came out on top after a competitive game, but the visitors scored a late goal to gain victory in the ‘A’ game which was also keenly fought. Harry Kennedy, Thomas Roche and Ed Browne were among the goal-scorers.
On Wednesday the Minors travelled to Kilcoleman and chalked up a comprehensive victory. James Ryan (Cooper) registered a hat-trick of goals in a 7-22 to 0-17 win;
The Under 14s were in Dolla on Thursday evening. A good second half saw them account for Silvermines by 3-14 to 1-4. Colin McBride helped himself to 2-2.
