Neddy Ryan R.I.P.

CLG Tulach Sheasta extends sincere sympathy to all the bereaved on the death of Neddie Ryan of Fiddane. His passing severs another of the few remaining links with the Mulcaire Rovers club for whom Neddie played and served on the committee in the 1950s. Neddie was heavily involved in the Newport Juvenile Club in the late 1970s and early ’80s and provided huge support in ferrying players to matches all over North Tipperary and beyond. His son, Eamonn, was a highly-talented hurler and footballer, leading Newport Under 16 Footballers to a county title in 1982, before his untimely passing a year later. Neddy’s kind nature, quiet disposition and generosity of spirit will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Cómhbhrón lena chlann agus a chairde. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal.
