National Shield Winners

Faoi 15’s: Congratulation to our U15A footballers who won the shield in the All-Ireland U15 Div 3 Feile Peil in Bellaghy, Derry on Saturday 28th June. They played Cooley Kickhams (Louth), Truagh (Monaghan) and Glenullin (Derry) in the round robin games, Mountmellick in the semi-final and Cooley Kickhams again in the shield final. A fantastic weekend was had by all. Thanks to Wolfe Tones Baile Eachaidh GAC for their hospitality. To our opponents thank you for some great games played in a great spirit. Thanks to all the parents and supporters that made the long trip to support the team. We would also like to thank CLG Seán Mac Cumhaills for allowing us the use of their pitch in Ballybofey on Friday it was great to train in such an iconic venue. Super performances by the team. We look forward to many great years ahead with these lads.  Meanwhile we wish the best of luck to our U15A hurlers in the first round of the hurling championship v Ballina on Thursday 3rd July at 19.00 in Lacken Park.
