Congratulations to Newport College who had a comprehensive victory against Gaelcholaiste Luimnigh in the Quarter Final of the Limerick Schools U15C Donnacha O Nunain Cup.

• Congratulations to St. Marys’ Secondary School, Newport ‘s U17B hurlers who had a great result v Pallaskenry winning by 5:13 to 0:12 in the Limerick PPS county semi-final last week. They can look forward to a Co. Final after the Easter holidays.

Congratulations and well done to JJ Roche and Bobby O’Connor who represented Newport GAA and North Tipperary in the U14 Peadar Cummins B Interdivisional Hurling Tournament in Cappawhite on Saturday.
